wow not that good of customer service
I have wonderful internet and I 'DON'T have thunderbird broadband to thank for it.  Yes I moved and bought a new house and my interenet is fabulous.  I figured i would look on thunderbird's website to see how things are, and i see nothing has changed.  I feel deeply sorry for those who still have the same issues that I had with them as a provider.  I read heart felt cries for help on this forum and the response time is horrible, two to three months.  How is that good customer service, someone explain it to me. I do believe they are a business that will eventually fold because they have encounterd problems they can not fix, and if there is a small chance that something might work it is at the expence of you not them. "Well you may have to upgrade, it will cost you about $300.00" , thats the answer i got.  If you can't offer a reliable service becasue you felt you had to rush it on the market to creat a possitive cash flow before the proper tests were conducted, then I'm sorry to those people of which depend on you to offer a reliable service and don't get it.  I'm sorry but having no interenet or at least a reliable one was not the reason for moving, but it was i nice surprise to know that there was a provider out there who can keep their word.

Sincerely,
Happy Wave Broadband Customer

Re: wow not that good of customer service

Well, speaking from my own experience, I have an incredibly fast connection with Thunderbird, the service is always reliable and I've never had any problems getting through to somebody if I have a question.  The cost is almost half of what I was paying for satellite.  I work from home and rely on my internet connection to be available, every day, all day.  My service went down for half of a day one day, and that was because my own router burned out due to age and had nothing to do with Thunderbird.  Otherwise, it's been flawless.  My experience with Thunderbird over these last few months has been far far better than my cumulative experience of years with my previous satellite internet provider.  This sounds more like a user issue to me.

Re: wow not that good of customer service
Our apologies Giggles that you were not satisfied with our internet service, we were on the phone with you often and out at your place many times attempting to provide the best service we could to you. Unfortunately we cannot guarentee service to anyone and offer hassle free cancelation with prorated radio buyback (or full refund if cancelation happens within the first 30 days). We tried indoor radios for you, outdoor radio's, and in the end the interference in your area was just too strong but you wouldnt take our offer to cancel your service and credit your account. Perhaps you would like to provide us with your forwarding address so we can resend your invoice for the radio, installation and months of service and house calls? Or at least return the radio and open discussion regarding our outstanding bill? That would be much more appreciated than your posting unpleasant untruths on the message board.
