The Fiber Link in Everett is repaired and all systems are operational at full speed again! 

Do to an enexpected issue on the Everett Fiber Link, our system is currently in fail-over mode, utilizing the backup link to Seattle. This will prevent customers with public IP's from accessing thier networks at home, will cause brief disruptions in connectivity and will also disable our VoIP office phones.

We expect the issue to be resolved this evening with all systems running smooth.

 

 

Thunderbird Broadband has been approached by and will be partnering in the near future with a newly formed group in Tucson Arizona to offer Thunderbird Broadband in that region. We expect to have the Tucson Network live and serving customers by as soon as the Spring of this year. Watch this page for updates on this and other expansions of the Thunderbird Broadband service. 

Over the course of Sunday and Monday, the Thunderbird team improved the primary link to the fiberoptic network by upgrading equiptment and fine tuning the antenna alaignment. This brought our primary backhaul speed to a blazing 54Meg per second for both uploads and downloads! This means faster ping times and even better network response accross the system.
